"Invictus," by the Victorian era British writer William Ernest Henley, is a brief poem by the late Victorian era British poet William Ernest Henley, also known as H.H. Henley. It was penned in 1875 and printed in his first book of poems, a Book of Verse, in the final section Death and Life. It is a description and analysis of a tragic event that occurred during the Great Depression. The poem was later made into a movie, with the same title, Invictus, which was later made into a feature-length motion picture by Disney.
Invictus is available for free download on the Internet. It can be obtained in its original text format (pdf file), and in its converted (otherwise known as "WINE") format. Although some people may prefer to have the physical copy, it is more often useful to download Invictus and use it on a later time. There are other software programs which are available to assist in downloading Invictus. Such programs are WINEPipe(TM), Fast COPYZ(TM), Fast Copy(TM), and CopyWise(TM).
The majority of these software programs are available free of charge.
